Josh Paulson
Josh started Paulson Insurance in 2010 after working in the insurance industry a couple of years for a captive company. He saw the benefit of being an independent agent and the value it brings to our clients. He received his Bachelors Degree in Management from the University of Southern Indiana. He is also a member of the Downtown Optimist Club. Outside of work, Josh enjoys camping and spending time with his wife and four boys.
Katie Thornberry
Katie has been a valued member of the Paulson Insurance team since 2014, bringing over a decade of experience in the insurance industry. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Southern Indiana and is committed to helping clients make informed decisions about their coverages. Known for her client-focused approach, Katie strives to be a trusted resource during both everyday planning and unexpected events. Outside the office, Katie enjoys time with family and friends, and attending concerts and sporting events with her husband.
Mindy Wilzbacher
Mindy jumped out of her comfort zone and joined Paulson Insurance in February of 2022. Being new to the insurance world, she enjoys learning something new every day! Mindy graduated from University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Outside of work she and her husband enjoy spending time with their three boys, camping, attending sporting events or going to church.
Ali McGehee
Ali joined the Paulson Insurance team in 2023, bringing with her a strong foundation in business principles from Vincennes University, where she earned her degree in Business Management. Her passion for helping others is at the core of her work, making her a valuable resource for clients. Outside the office, Ali fuels her adventurous spirit through drag racing, cheering on her favorite hockey team, and discovering new places to explore.
Meredith Elpers
Meredith has brought her skills of analysis, problem-solving, and customer service to the Paulson Insurance team since 2019. Her degrees are in Theatre Arts and French and she still enjoys being active in the music community at Corpus Christi and polishing her French skills by uttering French phrases unexpectedly to confuse people. She loves working out, hiking and kayaking with her husband, and board games.
Drew Brewer
Drew joined the Paulson Insurance team in 2025. He has worked in the insurance space since 2022. He specializes in life and health insurance along with medicare supplements. Drew is passionate about helping others and providing insight and advice. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling to new places.
